London Northern Ireland Supporters Club
Dave asked to produce Making Our Way To Paris - a reworking of the old Smokie hit Living Next Door To Alice by members of the London Northern Ireland Supporters Club (otherwise calling themselves The London Green And White Army). Initial sessions in Newcastle at Dave's FMP Studio feature Steve Jinski on lead vocal with guitar from Dave Kennedy. Dave (Maughan) plays bass as well as engineering and producing. A session is booked in London where 40-odd green and white clad Northern Ireland football fans sing along on the choruses. Finally, back in Newcastle, Dave adds finishing touches, mixes and masters to create the finished track.
